Hi, I’m Casey Rox Sox, owner and artist at Silk Fox Tattoo!

Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, I’ve been immersed in art for as long as I can remember. My mother, a wildlife artist, nurtured my creativity from an early age, and together we explored drawing, painting, and various other artistic mediums. I attended an arts magnet high school and later earned a degree in horticulture, which has surprisingly strengthened my tattooing career by deepening my understanding of natural elements and design.

I’ve been tattooing since 2016, and along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some incredible artists. In December 2020, I took a huge leap and opened Silk Fox Tattoo, an all-female tattoo studio just outside the Twin Cities in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. I feel incredibly fortunate to work with a talented, fun, and professional crew who share a passion for growth and continuous learning.

I love collaborating with clients to bring their visions to life through bright, colorful tattoos. Some of my favorite themes to work with include pop culture, insects, and creative mash-ups. Every tattoo I create is designed with care, ensuring a unique and vibrant piece of art.
